The Yuva Kabaddi Series Tamil Nadu Clubs 2024 began on May 6 and will run till June 6 in Chennai.

As many as 16 teams will compete in a total of 121 matches in Yuva Kabaddi Series Tamil Nadu Clubs 2024. 

These participating teams have been divided into two pools of eight teams each.

Pool A has Alathankarai Club, Jayachitra Club, Karpagam University, Kattakudi Sports, KR Sports, N.A. Academy, Nellai Kings and Vels University.

AMKC Gobi, Chennai Sports, Durai Singam, PK Sports, PRIST University, Samy Academy, Sivagangai Warriors and SRM University are placed in Pool B.

Each team will play the other seven sides in their Pool once in a single round-robin format.

A total of 10 teams will advance to the Yuva Kabaddi Series Tamil Nadu Clubs 2024 Summit Round. 

All matches in the YKS Tamil Nadu Clubs 2024 will be played at the Velammal Bodhi Campus Indoor Stadium in Ponneri, Chennai.

Just like the recently-concluded KMP Maharashtra edition, the upcoming YKS tournament will feature players from a single state, in this case players from Tamil Nadu.

 The star-studded athletes in the 16 teams will have an opportunity to showcase their talent in the kabaddi tournament.

Yuva Kabaddi Series Tamil Nadu Clubs 2024 points system

Teams will earn five or six points for a win depending on their margin of victory. If a team wins a match by more than seven points, they will be awarded six points. In case they win by a margin of seven points or less, they will bag five points. 

A tie will give teams three points, while a loss will result in no points for the losing side unless the margin of defeat is seven points or less, in which case the losing team also earns one point.
