Haryana Steelers Win Their Maiden PKL Title in Season 11
The Haryana Steelers clinched their first-ever Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) title with a commanding 32-23 victory over the Patna Pirates in the final match of Season 11. The match took place at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Balewadi Pune.
For the Steelers Shivam Patare led the charge scoring 9 crucial points. Mohammadreza Shadloui added 7 points while Vinay contributed 6 more. Their collective efforts ensured a well-deserved victory and secured the champions’ prize of ₹3 crore. The Patna Pirates finishing as runners-up received ₹1.8 crore.
A Strong Start by the Haryana
The Haryana Steelers started strong, gaining an early lead in the initial exchanges. Shivam Patare and Mohammadreza Shadloui were instrumental in setting the pace and dictating the game’s tempo. On the other hand Devank Dalal and Ankit fought valiantly for the Patna Pirates but struggled to match the Steelers’ dominance.
Shadloui showcased his brilliance throughout the match, helping his team build a solid 9-point lead. The Steelers’ defensive strategy combined with their efficient raiding kept the Pirates at bay.
