Arjun Deshwal Achieves PKL Milestone in 1,000 Raid Points:
Jaipur Pink Panthers’ captain Arjun Deshwal recently reached a historic milestone, becoming the second-fastest player in Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) history to score 1,000 raid points. This notable achievement came as his team clinched a 33-30 victory over UP Yoddhas marking his 97th match in PKL.
Team Victory Over Personal Success for Deshwal
Despite this personal success, Arjun kept the team’s performance as his main priority. “The team’s victory was more important than the 1,000 points but both happened together and I’m happy about that” he said in a PKL release.
Dedication to Kabaddi and Gratitude for Success
Known for his grounded approach Deshwal attributed his success to the sport itself “If I have to thank anyone it would be kabaddi first. Whatever name, fame, and success I have today is because of kabaddi, the Pro Kabaddi League and Mashal Sports. Thanks to Kabaddi for giving me everything” he expressed, showcasing his respect for the game.

Deshwal is only the seventh player in PKL to reach this milestone, highlighting his dedication and impact on the sport. He explained, “When a player puts in hard work, it always bears fruit sooner or later. So, the hard work we’re putting in is now showing results.”

Arjun’s success has been a combined effort and he noted the importance of team support and mentorship. “This is kabaddi in which a single player can’t achieve anything alone. Team support and the coach’s guidance are crucial. I’ve had all of this along with my parents’ blessings,” he shared underscoring the collective nature of his achievements.

In upcoming matches Dabang Delhi KC will seek to overcome their losing streak against Bengal Warriors who are undefeated in their last four games. Fans are eagerly awaiting raiders Maninder Singh and Sushil Kambrekar’s showdown against Dabang Delhi K.C.’s defense. In another match Haryana Steelers will face Gujarat Giants as both teams strive to end the Hyderabad leg with victories.
